UNOBTRUSIVE HIGHLY EFFECTIVE
The easiest and most cost effective answer to roof ventilation, providing effective ventilation to the roof cavity all year round.
LETS YOUR HOUSE BREATHE
Beats the summer heat and solves the winter condensation problems, provides entry and exit points within the roof for hot, moist and/or stale air to evacuate the roof cavity to the outside atmosphere.
STATIC
Has no moving parts, uses no energy. Powered by natural convection currents, air flow currents and the venturi effect.
HOW DO THEY WORK
An opening is cut into the roof sheet from the bottom line of the ridgecapping, the ventilator slips up under the ridgecapping and has an opening underneath which aligns perfectly with the opening in the roof sheet to allow air to enter and evacuate the roof space and is fixed to the roof sheet with rivetts or screws to completion, another ventilator is fixed on the opposite side below the ridgecapping in the opposing position.
This completes the system which allows free air flow currents to enter either ventilator and hotter stale air to evacuate either ventilator via convection currents air flow currents and the venturi effect.
HOW MANY DO YOU NEED
This is generally determined by the ridgelines of your roof where the heat rises to. If you have one ridgeline up to 8 metres you will need 2 ventilators (one system). If you have two ridgelines you will need 4 ventilators (2 systems). If you have 3 ridgelines you will need 6 ventilators (3 systems). However in saying that you can have a huge house coming up to a small ridgeline and you will only need one system. Placement can also change with the configuration of your roof.
If you need to you can email us your roof plan or do a rough mud map the approximate size of your house and we will map out your ventilator placement and amount of vents you need.
CAN I INSTALL THEM MYSELF – YES
We have comprehensive instructions on our website, when we send our products out full instructions come with the product.
However if you cannot install them yourself and you do not want to get on a roof, any handyman or plumber can install them for you.
HOW DO THEY LOOK WHEN INSTALLED
They look great and actually give the roof more character similar to a low profile bonnet scoop on a quick car. Being tapered on three sides making an aerodynamic look and design. You don’t see much but what you see looks and works excellent. There is no cowling or pipe protruding above the roofline, the ventilator fits flush to the corrugations of the roofing becoming part of the roof covering.
DURABLE AND STRONG BUILD QUALITY
Made from strong 0.55 zincalume coated Bluescope steel laser cut to perfect accuracy.
HANDLING MOTHER NATURE
As well as working exceptionally well have been constructed with mother nature in mind. Three sides have been aerodynamically tapered so high winds and storm cells will pass over the ventilator making them the best ventilation system in high wind and tropical cyclone areas. The tapering of the ventilator leaves no possibility for debris collection such as leaves, twigs etc. A nice clean almost flush unit only allowing fresh air in and stale moist air out. Conforms to Bushfire Standard AS3959-2009.
